We work alongside the Architects, Building Designers, Contractors, and Homeowners to design structural components not covered by NZS3604, and issue Producer Statements.
A new residential property in Paihia that TMC was responsible for the structural engineering design
TMC engineers carried out the structural engineering of a high quality residential designed by Arcline Architecture and build by Pierce Construction Ltd. The property overlooks outstanding views of Bay of Islands and Russell. This relatively big-scale (426 m2) four-bedroom residential development included a number of features that required TMC’s engineering expertise, including a 12m wide range slider overlooking Bay of Islands, ranked ceiling being supported on cranked steel beams, an infinity edge swimming pool and a large outdoor deck area surrounding the pool.
TMC Consulting was responsible for the structural design of the house, swimming pool and landscape retaining walls, working closely with architects Arcline Architecture to provide a luxurious end result for the client. Any potential issues in the project are resolved early by considering structural, architecture and construction together, providing time and cost benefits for the client.
The finished residence includes a triple garage, an open plan kitchen-dining-living space that features a cellar room, oak and tiled floors that lead out to the exterior deck and swimming pool.
