TMC Consulting Engineers is a locally owned and operated firm offering a broad range of consulting engineering services. Based in Whangarei we cover the greater Northland area providing practical Civil, Structural and Geotechnical engineering solutions for residential, commercial and industrial projects.

We are seeking applications from technicians and graduate to intermediate engineers to take up the opportunity to become part of and help build our new and exciting engineering firm. If you’re a graduate Engineer or have NZ consultancy experience as a Civil, Structural or Geotechnical Engineer looking to fortify and secure your future career with an organisation of motivated and innovative people, we want to hear from you.

A tertiary qualification in engineering or other relevant / related discipline
Strong communication skills as you will be expected to work directly with clients and architects

Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa

GEOTECHNICAL

GEOTECHNICAL ENGINEERING IS ESSENTIALLY THE STUDY AND UNDERSTANDING OF HOW INFRASTRUCTURE INTERACTS WITH THE GROUND – AND WHILE THAT MAY SEEM STRAIGHTFORWARD, THE REALITY CAN BE QUITE DIFFERENT! It is therefore vitally important to have a site-specific geotechnical engineering report prior to starting any design or construction work on your project. TMC’s Team of Professional Geotechnical Engineers have extensive experience throughout New Zealand and Overseas, but principally in; Northland and the Far North Regions – with a focus and expertise applied on the unique geological conditions encountered throughout.

AS WITH ANY CONSTRUCTION PROJECT, QUALITY ASSURANCE IS AN ESSENTIAL PART OF THE CONSTRUCTION PROCESS; FROM CONSTRUCTION INSPECTIONS UNDERTAKEN AT KEY STAGES OF THE CONSTRUCTION WORKS TO FINAL COMPLETION AND PRODUCER STATEMENT SIGN-OFF. TMC Consulting Engineers have extensive experience in Construction Inspections and the issue of the associated Producer Statement documentation throughout New Zealand, but principally; in Northland, the Far North and Auckland Regions.
